Movement - Structure of the Three Pieces Hirth Coupling Gear

The Three Pieces Hirth Coupling Gear units consist of three parts:

Coupling teeth (lock to the structure of the rotation disc

Coupling teeth (lock to the base structure of the index table)

Coupling teeth (vertical movement pallet)

The index table is in unclamping condition during Hirth Coupling Gear C descends, the structure tightly support Coupling Gear A, disc rotates smooth and accurately without any vertical movement.

After Gear A completed indexing, Coupling Gear C rise to match Coupling Gear A and B to clamp the index table. Coupling Gear C perfectly matches Coupling Gear plate A and B

30 degree angle pressure of each gear accurately matches Coupling Gear plate A and B, able to maintain high precision after long period of use.

Material of the Worm Wheel

ALBC4 grade, HRB180 hardness, durable and postponing possible backlash occurrences

Inspection:

Products are inspected by HEIDENHAIN automatic measuring device and with printed report.

Heavy Cutting Tolerance

Swelling embrace type hydraulic clamping device, swelling ring strongly holds large area of plate's neck of the spindle taper, the entire circumference surface of the disc unit is in close tight during braking motion, reduce surface pressure and eliminates unsteady vibration.

IP65 class water proofing enclosed structure to restrain dust and cutting fluid.

Signal connectors are military grade and can be connected to the NC of the machine tool for NC program operation
